  8. 1) Please read and follow the instructions for installing Parity in the 
  9.    READ_1ST.TXT file.

  11. 2) If Parity appears to "lock up" during an operation and the mouse icon 
  12.    is locked into an Hour Glass cursor just hit the up arrow key.  This 
  13.    should fix the problem.

  15. 3) The *.DAT files created by Parity 1.3 are not compatible with the Parity 
  16.    1.0 version of the program.  You may not use *.DAT files created by 
  17.    Parity 1.3 with the 1.0 version.  Parity 1.1, Parity 1.2 and Parity 1.3 
  18.    are fully compatible with each other and backward compatible with files 
  19.    from Parity 1.0.
